Season’s Greetings from LATCH

Bradley Skinner, Ollie Bartlett and Josh Norman from Barry Boys Comprehensive School deliver presents collected by the school to Phoebe Taylor

LATCH would like to wish all our friends and supporters a very Merry Christmas and all the best for 2012. We would like to thank everyone for their amazing fundraising efforts and generosity over 2011 and as ever we have been overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of the public.

Christmas period is often one of the hardest times for the children and families we look after. Not all children are well enough to go home but thanks to the LATCH family accommodation suite families can be together to celebrate.

LATCH’s family support team also continue to work with the families over the Christmas period and LATCH will always have a social worker at hand to help with any emergency problems.

LATCH ensures that each of our families receive an extra Christmas grant to help ease the additional financial burden faced over the festive period.

Many local groups have also sent in Christmas presents that LATCH has helped distribute to the children on the ward – and that definitely helps bring a smile to their faces!

Next year in 2012, LATCH will be celebrating its 30th anniversary and we hope you will join us in the host of celebration activities we are in the process of planning.

Many thanks
The LATCH team
