The annual LATCH Party was held on Saturday 30th January. Over 200 attended this amazing event at the All Nations Centre.
Face painting was offered to every child and some adults as well. Entertainment was provided by Dr Bob’s Balloons, there were clowns, a magic act, balloon modelling and games for the younger children. Performers demonstrated circus skills and instructed on how to master juggling and many other skills.
Rides in several stretch limousines were offered to all family members and we are extremely grateful to ‘All Stretched Out’ for offering the limousines free of charge.
The children also enjoyed the craft table with the Play Staff also managing a crèche. The nail art and tattoo transfers appealed to all ages.
A buffet was provided and the afternoon finished with a disco. The LATCH Party gave families an opportunity to meet up with friends from the ward, to enjoy the entertainment. It was great to see so many children enjoying themselves away from the hospital and the rigors of treatment.
Many thanks to the staff at the All Nations Centre for providing the hall free of charge.
