Silver Jubilee!
LATCH will celebrate its silver jubilee in 2007 and a number of events are being planned throughout the year.
These are the events which have been agreed so far:
Children's Party
Saturday, 13 January
The children's party will be held in the All Nations Centre where the children will be entertained by clowns, puppeteers and balloon makers, to name but a few. Face and nail painting, badge making and many other activities will be on offer. As well as current patients, we would be delighted to welcome old patients at the party. Tree Planting Ceremony
Monday, 29 January
A group of lucky children will travel to London to plant a tree in LATCH's name in the Speaker's garden at the House of Commons.
Street Collections and Street Parties
June
Street collections and parties will be held throughout Wales during June. If anyone would be willing to organise a collection or party please e-mail latchcharity@aol.com for further information.
Ball Push
June-August
During the summer months 3 giant balls will be pushed to the Children's Hospital from across many parts of South Wales. The exact routes will be published early next year.
Concert at St David's Hall
Sunday, 15 July
A wonderful evening's entertainment will be provided by children, dance troupes, Jason Howard, the Richard Williams Singers and many more artistes.
Candlelit Evening at Llandaff Cathedral
Saturday, 15 September
