Buy a Brick campaign
We recently launched our "Buy a Brick" campaign to raise funds to maintain the parents' accommodation. Each brick costs £10.00 and will be engraved with a name of your choice. The bricks appear in this uniquely commissioned artwork which is displayed at the entrance to the parents' accommodation in the children's hospital for Wales.
Parents frequently refer to their experience of having a child on treatment as like "being on a roller coaster". Our Artist, Kate Derbyshire has captured this image and created a spectacular mosaic and tile art display. The mirrored tiles around the top of the display and the blue tiles underneath are engraved with the names.
