Annual LATCH Golf Day Raises Over £7,500

The LATCH Welsh Children’s Cancer Charity Annual Charity Golf Day was held at Glamorganshire Golf Club on Friday 12th July, attended by over 120 local business people and golf enthusiasts.

The Charity Golf Day, which is now in its 22nd year, was a resounding success, with £7,500 raised during the day.

Phil Parker, who organises the event year on year, commented: “The sunshine made for a very memorable event, and it was so good to meet up with friends from the golfing and business worlds to enjoy a day in aid of a charity that is so very close to my heart. The fact that we raised so much money is testament to the community spirit that is so strong in the golfing arena, and it’s an absolute honour to be able to help support such a vital local charity.”

He added: “Along with the LATCH team, I would like to thank everyone who entered on the day and also to the volunteers who worked tirelessly to make it such a huge success.”
