On New Year’s Day 2021, Rhod Howells, Jono Willicombe and Nick Ferns started an amazing challenge. They are virtually running/walking 870 each around the Welsh Coastal Path to raise money for LATCH, they hope to virtually reach Chester by July 10th 2021.
In February 2020 Rhod and Jono’s niece Lowri was diagnosed with a Wilms Tumour, a rare kidney cancer that primarily affects children. After her diagnosis, Lowri received care from the NHS staff at The Children’s Hospital for Wales in Cardiff, Lowri and her family are also currently being supported by Latch.
They have already raised an incredible £5,500 so far and finishing on July the 10th is a very special date as it will be Lowri’s 3rd Birthday!
