Double your donation to LATCH in the Big Give’s Small Charity Week Campaign
LATCH aims to raise £2,500 in just one week to support children with cancer and their families in Wales.
LATCH Welsh Children’s Cancer Charity is thrilled to announce its participation in the Big Give’s inaugural Small Charity Week Campaign. Running from 23rd to 30th June 2025, this national fundraising campaign gives donors the unique opportunity to double their impact through matched donations.

LATCH is aiming to raise £2,500 in online donations during the seven-day campaign. These donations will be matched pound for pound by the Big Give’s Champions, generous philanthropists and funding organisations, to reach a total of £5,000.
These funds will directly support LATCH’s work providing practical, emotional, and financial assistance to children with cancer and their families.

Last year alone, LATCH supported over 150 families, awarded more than £320,000 in grants to families, and provided more than 1,800 free accommodation nights for parents whose children were undergoing treatment.
Donations will help fund emergency financial grants, dedicated social workers, and accommodation close to hospital wards, ensuring no family has to face a cancer diagnosis alone.
Menai Owen-Jones, CEO at LATCH, said: “This year we’re looking to raise a total of £5,000. In order to access the £2,500, we have in the matching pot, we need to raise £2,500 in online donations. We hope everyone will give generously this year to help us reach our target!”
