Ward-Based Support Worker
LATCH funds two support worker roles to offer practical assistance to families whilst they are in hospital.
Ward-Based Support Workers
LATCH Support Workers undertake tasks such as food shopping, collecting siblings from school, sitting with children when parents need a break or just simply being there for a chat - anything to make life easier.
With treatment often involving long waits, isolation and scans, these roles are essential and help families to keep going when times get really tough.
LATCH produces a monthly e-Newsletter which contains exciting updates on our work supporting children and their families across Wales. If you would like to receive the new LATCH e-Newsletter directly into your mailbox, simply click the sign-up button!
