Ward-Based Support Worker

LATCH funds two support worker roles to offer practical assistance to families whilst they are in hospital.

Ward-Based Support Workers

LATCH Support Workers undertake tasks such as food shopping, collecting siblings from school, sitting with children when parents need a break or just simply being there for a chat – anything to make life easier.

With treatment often involving long waits, isolation and scans, these roles are essential and help families to keep going when times get really tough.
